Karnali, Oct 25: Karnali province has collected Rs 1.225 million revenue in 12 days in traffic rule violation fines. 
According to Information officer of Nepal Police Highway Safety and Traffic Management Office, Surkhet, Hari Bahadur BC, 1,338 vehicle drivers faced action from October 12-23, which led to the revenue collection. 
 The highest Rs 500,000 revenue was collected while taking action against 638 individuals driving under the influence of alcohol in Surkhet. 
Similarly, 222 vehicle drivers faced action in Salyan and Rs 218,500 revenue was collected from it while Rs 145,000 revenue was collected taking action against 127 vehicle drivers in Rukum West, Rs 94,000 revenue was collected in Dailekh taking action against 99 vehicle drivers.
Similarly, 67 vehicle drivers faced action in Jumla where Rs 73,999 revenue was collected, 68 vehicle drivers faced action in Jajarkot and Rs 61,500 revenue was collected from it.
Likewise, action was taken against 82 vehicle drivers in Kalikot, 18 in Dolpa, 15 in Humla and three in Mugu, added the Office.
